For the last ten years, I’ve been on a journey of self-discovery through herbalism.
While living in Washington state in my 20s, I reinvigorated my love for plants through a simple backyard garden. In 2016, I formally began creating and selling herbal skincare under Lagom Body Co., and ran that business for 8 years.
While I no longer formally sell skincare under LBC, I continue to create beautiful foraged seasonal skincare in Rhode Island when life allows. I also teach skincare workshops in-person and online for anyone interested in and eager to create their own skin-loving, sustainable products.
I’m passionate about all things health and wellness and am eager to share the simplicity, beauty, and health-boosting properties of everyday herbalism from the outside in.
I’m also a toddler mama, writer, artist, forager, underconsumption seeker, adventurer, craft coffee lover, and avid student of life.
Follow along for inspiration and tips to live a more plant-connected life through everyday herbalism.

Herb Sourcing Guide 101 for Home Herbal Skincare Creators
Let your senses lead the way. My small-batch skincare is created from wildcrafted ingredients from Rhode Island, along with sustainably sourced herbs and oils predominantly from North America, to offer nourishing formulas that feed your skin and the planet.
Lagom, the namesake of my botanical skincare brand, means “not too much, not too little” in Swedish. I’m inspired by the ethos of this word and formulate using just what I need to make an effective formula.
